From The Alchemist is a small, independent studio focused on building tools that make Unreal Engine gameplay richer and easier to ship. Sunstone is our flagship navigation system – born from years of fighting with flying AI and big open worlds.
We build the infrastructure where your level design, AI behaviour and navigation finally align with your vision.
Everything we build is tested in real UE projects, profiled on real hardware and documented with working examples so you can drop it into your pipeline without drama.
What matters to us:
Curious minds, not cargo cults – we approach Unreal like an alchemist’s lab, testing, prodding and breaking things until we understand how things actually behave.
Code as craft – we care about clear structure, honest naming and tools that still feel good to work in at 2am when a bug report lands.
Alchemy as a lens – we borrow the alchemist’s urge to map the hidden rules of the universe and point it at game worlds, turning chaos in 3D space into something you can shape and direct.
Care – we design for the people shipping games, not for screenshots, and we want our tools to lighten the load, not add to it.
